Welcome to Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It has, for my taste a particularly beautiful Arabic flair.

Abu Dhabi with its shining white buildings, wide avenues and a Corniche along the seaside with the world-famous hotel "Emirates Palace" is something very special. This town has not too many skyscrapers and looks very clean, and I liked it very much.

There is planned a huge project architecture with well-known architects for the future in Abu Dhabi, too, and I am curious to know how this will look after completion. Certainly, the authors of the project slogan are right when they write:

"He who does not know and appreciate his past will never fully understand where he stands today. Only by learning about his history can a person begin to face the challenges of modern life ...".
